I was looking over some of the photos I have downloaded to my computer so far, and these are a few of my Black Phantom kids . Since moving to Illinois, they are the 2nd type of Tetra I've successfully been able to keep (the others are the Rummynoses--which I can't find anymore; another which I can't find either, are the Marble Hatchets): One of the girls One of the boys A couple of the girls

One of the things I love about the Black Phantoms, is watching them do a behavior I call "Tilting". It isn't a constant thing, and they don't care who they tilt with ...male on male...female on female...or even males vs. females : Don't mind the frayed fins, this is natural from everyday encounters and is nothing serious, and rarely causes any problems.

One more pic of the tilting behavior. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the guys in action.

Great pics! Good point as per the fin damage, as it not all that unusual. As well in a healthy aquarium we do not want to dump medications or even give baths for every minor injury that is often part of normal fish behavior. Carl
