I've never had a problem with snails and shrimp, but I've heard that sometimes snails can carry a toxin that will kill shrimp. Maybe do a 100% tear down, add only the gravel and plants back..start adding stuff slow until you find out what is killing them. Sorry that you are having so much trouble

While it may be cycled and stable, I wouldn't consider 1 month to be "seasoned" well enough for shrimp. My experience has been that you should only add shrimp to a very well-established tank.

One thing I read online not too long ago is that Seachem Reef Iodide can be used for shrimp that are having trouble shedding. It is necessary for the shrimp to shed when growing, if the shrimp is unable to shed its exoskeleton it will most likely die. I have not tested this out for myself, so I don't know how well this method works. I also would like to bring back up Steven's point. While I am not an expert in freshwater shrimp, I HAVE seen the difference a lack of iodine can make with certain marine specimens, so I think the lack of Iodine may be worth looking into Carl
