I haven't taken any pictures in quite a while - I haven't really taken any since I added the new TMC GroBeam LED lamps. So here is my tank as of today. Other than some occasional pruning, I haven't messed with the configuration in several weeks!

The Java Ferns are super thick, in both tanks. I think that's why they're not getting super large.
That's wisteria (hygrophilia difformis) in the middle. It does kind of look like water sprite...

Your tank is simply stunning! I love the lighting and how the plants help offset the fish's color. My tanks are pretty plain. lol Just decorations, filter, air supply and of course... fish. Nothing nearly as nice as that!

First of all, thank you Renee. The lights are absolutely incredible, despite the price tag. Second, I jinxed myself by saying I hadn't touched anything for so long! After looking at the picture I posted, I noticed the fairly large gap on the right side of the tank, where the Ludwigia just wasn't covering the back glass. The first issue I found was that I had double the space to the left of the driftwood vs. the right. Moving the Swords to the left would give them much more room. In addition, because of my filter input/outflow configuration, my Ludwigia was being pushed/pulled towards the filter intake creating the large gap at the top right. So I swapped the Ludwigia and the Swords. Not only do they fill their respective spaces MUCH better, I am balanced in my colors as well. The bright green Swords contrast with the reddish-green Crypts in front of them. The Red Ludwigia offsets with the bright green of the Anubias and Java Ferns in front of it. Here's what it looks like now: While I was taking the above pic, I decided to snap some pics and update everyone on some of my more interesting fish. Remember the shy little upside-down catfish I got? Well, he's still shy but he's no longer LITTLE. The small white one I got at the same time is still only about 2 inches long. This one is a good 6 inches and when he comes out to eat, all of the other fish get out of the way! The next two pics are not actually my fish. I have my tank and my oldest daughter has her 14G. My youngest daughter wanted angels and my wife did too. So I got two black and whites for my daughter and two silver and blues for my wife. They do great and surprisingly, the tetras don't bother them. Speaking of the tetras, here's the obligatory pic of my favorite fish. For whatever reason, they remind of me of bulldogs.

Looks great! I've an angel with 10 Colombian tetras. I've never seen the tetras try anything with the angel. Occasionally Pierre will take a shot at a tetra, but no harm is ever done.
The angels have a lot of finnage going on there!

Wow! The coloration of those two angels is awesome! That reminds me of why I wanted to get angelfish a while back. Renee
