I updated the Columnaris article. Much was updated with new pictures, expanded information, further references, and most importantly more clarity on identification & treatment. I also should point out that in more research (to makes sure my information is correct) I found a lot of cut & paste information recommending Erythromycin for Columnaris treatment which is patently incorrect (I even researched human and other veterinary articles just o make sure my own experiments were not missing "something"). Sadly it seems other forums and Ya answers were the main offender of this deadly recommendation (I say deadly because wasting time with incorrect treatments is often a death sentence when it comes to Columnaris). One forum in particular was really bad recommending tannins, erythromycin for both fungus and Columnaris, neither of which is correct (I will not name it out of professional courtesy) See: Columnaris Disease in FishCarl
