I've seen Biochem Zorb on sale quite a bit, but I've never bought it. Is it less dusty than the API Carbon?

Biochem Zorb is much less dusty than API Carbon and API Ammo-Carb. Biochem Zorb also has some resins for nitrate, tannins, and other pollutant removal that standard carbons cannot remove, although not to the scale that SeaChem Purigen can perform. That said, if you do not mind rinsing, API Carbon or Ammo-Carb is a good carbon for a good price (it goes further than Biochem Zorb) Carl

I can't stand the amount of rinsing involved with API Carbon! I bought it a few times because it's designed for my filter, but spending 10 minutes rinsing until the water ceases to be jet black is beyond my patience.

Just get some Matrix Carbon and stop worrying about it.
