Nice forum. This link I discovered gives many helpful information for newbies, specially for saltwater tanks. Check this one out: youtube.com/watch?v=znTmyVeKunM Interesting video, although it is more of a "teaser video" since it ends requiring one to purchase to see more. The information was generally good and well laid out, however the video did fall into a common trap of making the viewer assume that "white spot" (Cryptocaryon) randomly breaks out due to stressers and that the Blue Tang is a "level three" fish due to the fact that it easily gets Cryptocaryon. In actuality White Spot MUST be present for fish to be infested, and second the Blue Tang is one of the easiest and least demanding marine fish to keep in regards to water, feeding and more. Yes these fish easily get White Spot, however this can be prevented via good fish husbandry which includes careful quarantine of fish as well as introduction and good filtration which includes a properly set up UV SterilizerI have kept MANY Blue Tangs for years without a single outbreak of White Spot. lol I loved that video. Seeing the fish inetract felt like watching Finding Nemo. XD Fortunately, all my goldfish are on good behavior is agression is never a problem. Also, none of my current livijng goldfish have ever had ich or really any disease minus the minor torn fin once in a while. Of course, they seema bit thin now so that could be inetrnal parasites though I doubt it since in all of the 2-3 nyears I've had them, this has never been a problem. Thanks for the video although Carl makes some good points. Very entertaining video though.
