Lol i personaly think convicts are nasty....never really liked them. The only other fish i so far have liked and know my fires will be ok with is blue acaras. But like i said im in no rush and my two are so tiny id have to grow them a bit to add fish. I flip my 100 and 70 stocking over tomorrow. Wish me luck everyone =) Ill keep everyone updated with vids!! So excited just to have these two firemouths. Dunno why but im crazy about them!

They look a little stressed, but nice I looked at some of your other videos (again), I still love your tank with the angels, rummynose etc. It is very active and well set up, including your beautiful plants ;D Carl

I always did find the Aquedins Pulcher to be one of my more likeable SA's in terms of looks and their overall displacement are more mild then other SA's by comparison. They should fit in well and I think you made a good choice with them. Given the date and pick up and video date, I'd say if you posted a new vid now they likely might be more settled in. First few days in a new set up probably had them nervous.

The rummynose tetras are AWESOME in a big group like that. I have been wanting to expand my schools of glo-lite and Columbian red/blue tetras for a while - I could buy dozens of them and not displace the bio load output of the 4 gigantic mollies.

I love Columbian red/blues! I have 7 of them in my 50 gal. I want to get a few more. That blue on the top of the body is just gorgeous. It's like they're lit up from the inside.

So wish I could post a current vid, but with the move I cant get broadband on so only my mobile for net access atm -_- I did another post about my tanks, I feel very bored with thwm. Stocking is the samw but I lost a few rummys in the move. I had to use a esky with a battery operated air rater. The power company stuffed up so hadno power for three days, had to rely on batteries. Then the removalist was late and I had to work so tank swtups were delayed. So all in all, my four tank stocking in one big asky for three days, omg were thwy stressed and so was I lol. So a few rummys was a small price to pay I guess.. Anyway my acaras arw about fiftwen centremeters, dont know inches. So they have grown a bit. How is everyone??

Nice to "hear" from you again!
Are you still in Queensland (at least I think this was/is the Aussie State you lived in)?
Did you do OK with all the flooding a little while back?
Other than losing your Rummynose, how did your move go? BTW, sorry about your Rummynose, I have some currently now as well as some really large schools in the past with larger tanks & I really find these tetras enjoyable.
Sorry for all the questions, please do not feel obliged to answer these all especially with your phone connection (for all the great technology of "smart phones", I still vastly prefer a computer keypad and mouse)

Glad the move ended up ok. It's a shame you lost a few tetras, but all in all, that's not bad at all. I'm sure that was really stressful. I get stressed moving fish between tanks around within my house, lol.

Yeah im still in qld. About three hours from where I was. Still near the great barrier reef. Called the 'sunshine coast'. Floods didnt really effect me much. Ran outta fuel, toilet paper bread and milk and fruit and vegies for a few days but no one I know got physically fooded. Pretty lucky really. Everything is normal now except thw price of bananas is 13$ a kilo, thats nuts!! Lol. Anyway the move went well, one of my acaras jumped outta the esky but I realised pretty quick and hes fine now. No casualties except those few rummys. Omg fish are so dear here compared to up north, guppys are $5 each!! Most cichlids are $20 each and tiny and im yet to find a local shop that I would buy from. I need food really bad so im going to caloundra tomorrow, hopfully I find a good shop and some new plants
