I/we have removed all of the fish from the pond.....am sorry to see it go - so, probably are the barncats....moved over 100 fish inside to indoor aquariums - bioloads will be a bit high for 1 day - have added meth blue and all is well - will re-establish all tanks Saturday after the fish are gone - they are all beautifully marked and colored examples of their species! (have kept a few but don't tell Bill!) LOL! I am very proud - lots of pics to follow after my daughter finds the cord.....creating SA conditions was a bit tough at first, but the size of the pond and keeping water parameters constant, although a challenge, worked most perfectly! pays to do your homework, along w/ a lot of good luck!

Sounds as if all went well! ;D Congrats on your success with this endeavor! My sympathies to the barn cats that will no longer have their private pond to take a dip in. Carl

thanks all - can't wait to post the pics tonight - swords grew 3-1/2" since they were born March 25th! the male is superb! he's over 4" easy! only found 4 out of 11..... - only found 2 fish dead overall in the pond out of 112....not bad odds - cats must have gotten a fer because I counted over 90 last night in haste - my indoor aquariums are a splendor of color and movement - I don't care what anybody says, for as much as they breed and poop, platys are graceful and good natured and a wonderful community fish and easy to take care of and peaceful and realxing to watch! gonna miss them.....

Wait Murdock, you said you were ordering Chinese? Can I have rice? lots and lots or rice? No ionized salt please. The fish don't like that. Can you order it with aquiarium or sea salt instead? Thanks. *laughs*
