I updated my Marine Oodinium article, with a new picture, diagram, and more updated information and links. This disease is similar to freshwater velvet, but much more dangerous in my experience. Marine Oodinium (Amyloodinium Ocellatum)Carl

Very nice. I like the layout quite a bit. Good job on the spacing! Renee

I have further updated the Marine Oodinium Article Here is a snip: "Micron Filtration, especially when combined as part of the Pre-filtration going into a properly set up high dwell time UV Sterilizer. Since Oodinium dinoflagellates are quite small (as small as 9 microns), a 10 micron filter works bests. However this also means you would need some more coarse pre-filtration prior to this to prevent quick clogging of the filters. When combined with the high dwell time UV Sterilizer, this can come about as close to eradicating the infestation within the water column as possible, but it is still NOT 100%"Reference: www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Oodinium.htmlCarl
