Just curious, what do you feed them? Do you sell them or are they just for fun?

Wow, that's a lot of snails. Nice idea for a tank. Is it possible the snails are overstocked or perhaps they are just building a snail city. XD

Just curious, what do you feed them? Do you sell them or are they just for fun? Snails will just about eat anything... The only thing I have found that they don't like is carrots. But their fav. is the radish tops cooked till it sinks. Snails also eat algae, dead things, or when you over feed, which I seem to do They love any veggie, pretty much Yes Renee it was really overstocked!! Never thought that many snails would live!!! Live and learn!! I have been trading my snails at the lfs for fish items...I get a dollar a pc for the little buggers!! I am working on some cool ones that are all white with like black swirls Kind of like a tiger..

Cool. I didn't know snails would eat so many things. Maybe because I just had one snail at a time when I had them apart from the 7 I got one time. For me I found that they were quite finicky eaters, the yellow-shelled ones that is. Or maybe they weren't and I thought that just because I gave one snail a big piece of cucumber and never saw much difference in the size of the cucumber like it ate anything.

WOW!! its been almost a year? I have traded well over a 1,000 snails! Even had to buy another tank. Got a great deal on it too $35.00 for a new 55 gal, was brand new! Gotta love Craigslist. Will get pictures soon. I would say I still have 400 or better baby snails!! Good thing they grow slow in colder water!!
