i have a question with regards fish foods.. 1st,is it true that we should avoid foods that are packed in transparent plastics or pouch?according to some, foods exposed to light have their nutrition deteriorate. 2nd is with regards to fish nutrition,.what should i buy for my fishes?those with high protein percentage? 3rd,should i refrain from repacked fish foods?

I agree with staying away from the transparent pouches, also store you food in a cooler place. What kind of fish do you have to feed?

If you mean repacked bulk foods sold by many LFS, this is OK providing the food is kept tightly sealed and is reasonably fresh As to proteins, this is not a simple answer, as proteins are made up of amino acids, of which certain amino acids are more important and easily utilized than others. So simply put a high protein amount is not indicative of usable proteins. An example is a leather shoe is high in protein, but little of the proteins are usable by most animals/fish. please read this article for more about this subject: Fish Nutrition; Proteins, Amino AcidsCarl
