Good to know that John. Walt has been making plans for this for a while, but we haven't made any progress yet. Our HOA has to approve any changes, so I don't know if this will be easy or not yet. I'd like to move most of my tanks into the new "fish room" with just a couple of show tanks in the house. I might actually be able to have furniture that isn't aquatic!!

Why would you want non-aquatic furniture? lol J/K

One day I'll do a photo tour of my house, and maybe you'll understand why I'd like to move a bunch of tanks!!

I've never done something as bad as draining 10 gallons onto the floor but I have done some silly things. lol
Once I was babysitting my neighbor's betta in a 2 1/2 gallon. And apparently my neighbor's boyfriend got butterfingers and accidently dropped the container getting over a gallon of water on the bathroom floor. I rescued the fish and swore I would never do anything as crazy as that.
Fast forward about 4 months. I had a sponge filter in a pitcher I was rinsing out. I walked over and accidently kncoked it over getting almost a 1/2 gallon of water on teh floor. And thanks to my promise to my mom that with keeping fish I have to wipe up spills really well and my case of OCD, I spent an 1 hour wiping that up. It got under my 40 gallon tank stand and on the towel under it too. Not fun.
I've also been cleaning a filter with a toothbrush and then dirty water splashed in my eye.

My worst mistake I have unfortunately done on more than one occasion (& I really get so mad at myself when I have done this);
When cleaning aquariums (this usually has happened in marine aquariums with large "dead" finger corals; I take out the coral to pour scalding hot water over to kill off any Cyanobacteria/red slime (this leaves desirable green algae behind) I will check VERY carefully for fish hiding in the coral, especially Damselfish (I will even leave the coral upside down outside the aquarium for a while for extra measure). HOWEVER it seems that the one time in 100 that I am not as careful, a Damsel remains and I kill the poor guy.

I have issues with forgetting to UNPLUG the heater before a water change!!!
As most of you know...my 55g center support (dang it...I'll edit when I remember what the darn thing is called) broke a couple of months ago...this tank is at work...I drained 1/2 the tank to take pressure off the glass...I left for home. 3 hours later I don't remember unplugging the heater!!!! I jumped in the truck and came speeding back to work (live 10 minutes from work) and came tearing in the front door expecting to find the glass heater had exploded and the entire tank "fried". Silly me never plugged the tank in after the last water change the week before!!! *wipes forehead*
