I have decided to get out of keeping the Protomelas Steveni's (Taiwan Reefs) I'm down to just the albino's anyways. Instead I'm going to keep the Vics with the Ruby Red Peacocks I have in that tank, and Yellow Labs with Zebra Red Top Hongi's in the 75. The Hongi's were an amazing story actually. For awhile I was down to just a male/female pair and she's spawned 3 times for me to boost the numbers back up and the yellow labs, 2 male/female pairs and I got close to 100 labs now lol. Great strain too, F1's no doubt of the parents. I outlet them to the local seller and get food and stuff back. One less expense.
Fulu's didn't seem to make it so I have another group comming in this week.

The first group is the ones I got from Vin I think maybe about 18 months ago? Honestly lost track of time on them. Some of them went oops gone in the car spill when moving, I think the others that were left got stressed because they WERE in the 100 gallon tank but be damned if I know where they went. It does happen though with African tanks. One time I found a rather large growing male Taiwan Reef somehow got himself stuck or hid under one of the log/rock openings. He probably been there about 5 days or so seeing how decomposed he was. Not really sure what happend to them Carl just lost them somehow. Going to start over.

I did want to add one more thing for this. I am convinced that Vin's strains are really F1's. I have noticed both in the Hongi and the lab females, they will hold broods for a very long time. Pretty much minimum 3 weeks. All other groups I've gotten females had tend to spit out much soon, pretty much after 2 weeks. I am thinking the group I have are retaining more of the wildness in them is why.

Good luck with your next "batch" of Fulus, hopefully F1s too
Considering everything, your first batch did quite well IMO
