I had posted a few pictures of my tanks on the other site, but since this one is new I will post some here too. Picture of my 75 gallon African cichlid tank. Picture of my 150 gallon tank after I painted the back. Sorry The Oscars wouldn't stay still. Thats all I have for now, I will take some recent ones here soon of these tanks and my planted ones.

Here is a link to a video of my 75 and 150 gallon tanks, this is from 5-28-08 so it is a little old, but I will hopefully have an updated video here soon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs45XItQW8o

Wow, great pictures and video! I like the smooth river rock in your African tank and the white sand in your Oscar Tank. I also found your Oscars really beautiful (I miss the Oscars I used to take care of). I added your video to this page: Aquatic VideosI went into see your photobucket albums, but it was private Carl

wow, those are some really cool pics Thanks Eve, it has taken me a long time to get good pictures like these, but it is still the hardest type of photography I have ever done, the fish never want to stay still for the pictures, and I need a slow shudder speed to get the picture right. I am still working on it though and will hopefully have more good pictures to share in the future. Thanks Brenda! Wow, great pictures and video! I like the smooth river rock in your African tank and the white sand in your Oscar Tank. I also found your Oscars really beautiful (I miss the Oscars I used to take care of). I added your video to this page: Aquatic VideosI went into see your photobucket albums, but it was private Carl Thanks Carl, these tanks both started out looking a lot different than they do now (if you go to my youtube channel, you can see the progression of these tanks from the start), it has taken a lot of work and time to get them looking the way they do now, so I greatly appreciate the good thoughts about them. The smooth rocks in the African tank worried me at first (because of the weight), but since I have realized that for many reasons, there is really not much to worry about. The sand in the Oscar tank was really an after thought, the tank started out with gravel (had a lot of people at pet stores tell me sand was no good), after trying it in a smaller tank, I realized how nice it looked and easy it was to take care of, so I swiched out the gravel for play sand. On a side note, again I want to say thank you Carl for starting this forum, I love the closeness of the group and the amount of knowledge of the people here. When I started out in this hobby, I was plauged by uneducated pet store employees giving me false information, it meant a lot of research on my part to learn about proper care, illnesses, and everything else I have learned over the years. I am so happy to see places like this site where I and others can go to share the information they have gained over the years, and learn from others also. I've got an Easter Island statue as well in my 100 gallon tank!!! Hey Ed and I have some of the same decor, we think alike!! ha ha ;D Really looks good Ed, as always. It's so good to see you here and have you around again! Jon Hey Jon, thanks, and you know what they say; "Great minds think alike." Great pictures. I love the yellow rock in with the fish and how clean and beautiful the pictures look. Almost like Desktop Aquarium with good it looks! Thanks Renee, As I said above to Eve, it has taken me a while to be able to get good pictures of my tanks. I still have problems with the fish being blurry if they move at all, but it is fun to do. I really appreciate the complement though and hope to hae more good pictures for everyone here soon. Your pics are so crisp, they would look great in a magazine! Thanks Geige!! ;D
