I will be getting some new fish soon. I am really excited about this and thought I would share...I am getting a trio of Otopharynx Lithobate (zimbabwe rocks) and some Paralabidochromis "fire" uganda's!!!

I agree with Renee, VERY beautiful fish. I have to admit to being partial to the Fire, in part I think they are more unique and I love the read, but also simply because they are Victorians and I like the fact that you are so involved with these Cichlids (of which I admit to knowing very little since my experience has mostly been Malawi and Tanganyikans)

This is also an otopharynx lithobates. I hope you get the real blue ones. I thought I was and this is how they turned out. I have about 30 1" fry from them now and hope to get my money back at the next auction.This is the father.

YEah, they are coming from a good supplier, so I hope that they are the REAL blue one's. They are the zimbabwe strain..Is that what your are 8?
Carl, I too have been enjoying being so involved with the Victorians...Most of them are fairly hard to find and a lot of them are endangered because of the conditions of lake victoria. They are also some of the most beautiful fish. I hope to become involved in the local cichlid club here where I would also be able to pass fry around of these beautiful fish.
