great and well needed video right now carl. shows exactly how simple and what needs to be done.
i find the simplest way and most stressfree way to get the fish back tho, is to pour the water over the net....then the fish gently falls into it. very well done carl.

Thanks and good points I mention about protecting from MB stains in the video description (via a link to my Aquarium Disease Prevention article which outlines in much greater detail how to do this) that is attached to this video when viewed via YouTube. Carl

great video - I agree w/ Bill as to pouring the bath water into another container over a net - also, it must me nice to have a methylene blue bottle that allows you to add drops! mine doesn't have a drop dispenser on the bottle!

I use both the net and hand method, I prefer the hand when I know I can catch the fish as it is gentle and I have less "accidents" with the MB water making a mess (I pour the water in the toilet, rather than the sink this way too so as to not stain the sink).
Kordon discontinued the dropper top for child safety reasons, i simply add another top after opening a new bottle, although an eye dropper works fine too.

Thanks for the video. You should have seen me giving my betta an MB bath on Sunday. A few drops of MB got on the rug and then when I wiped it up, it got everywhere I put the rags I used to clean it. I spent an hour cleaning up and using lots and lots of soap. Everything is ok, except for the rug... and my fingernails which are still blue. XD
My mom and I agreed (particially due to my lack of coordination while pouring) to medicate the fish outside and take them back in super quick right after the medicane is admistered and then have them take their bath inside. Then when I dump the stuff, it goes outside.
Also, mine doesn't have a thingy that allows for drips. Oh well, at least I get my sink cleaned every time I give a MB bath.

My MB bottle has a drippy lid, and I still manage to get it on my fingers! I end up opening and closing it with a paper towel folded a million times - sometimes the MB even goes right through the paper towel! That stuff is wicked!
BTW very nice job on the video, Carl and Steve!
