It says it is a 14 gallon but it sure is deep 20Lx10Wx15 H hmmm cycling it now It is actually less than 13 gallons. If you calculate it out by multiplying the L x W x H (in inches) and then divide by 231 (cubic inches in a gallon), it comes out to 12.987 gallons.
Also, when you consider the gravel and decorations taking up a certain amount of space, it is probably closer to 10 or 11 gallons. Nice looking tank, though.... What are you going to put in it?
Sorry, John

I think she's putting her tetras in it. But I'm not certain of course, I'll let Chashay tell you.

That is a cute tank...Do you have a spot light? The way the light hits that ornament make it look like you do. Either way looks cool.

YES I do have to stand on a chair! I'm only 5"4 and the tank I think is standing about 5"5- 5"6 my husband was laughing at me the other day while I was messing with the tank. Instead of helping, he'd rather laugh! I am always thinking of different things to do with the fish tank, I took a video of them eating yesterday (like parana's) but I took it with my phone, and it is telling me the content was to large to send and when I used my adapter for the computer, It only retrieved my pictures never let me transfer my video's to the computer?? and yes the ornament was in the aquarium section, they have so many cute ones I just don't have a big enough tank. And no, No spot light, I think it is just the ornament's colors that make it look like that, I have a question about the water though, It is a little cloudy, not much but not crystal clear, will that clear up with water changes?

Normally this will clear, but I would restrict feeding, change water frequently, and monitor Ammonia/nitrites until it does. There are products to clarify, but most are a last resort IMO. This article has some tips about cloudy or grey water: Freshwater Aquarium BasicsCarl

Sherry, I'm glad nobody's here to watch me... I get pretty soaked changing the water in the 55 gal, sure it would be a big laugh!
