How is he today Brenda? One thought that I failed o mention earlier (& I know this sounds like a broken record on my part as I mention this so often), however I had many a call for sick fish, often cichlids that were harmed by others and the Methylene Blue Baths often were able to revive the fish enough that their own immunity did the rest. Methylene Blue is a hemoglobin transfer agent in the blood and a fish that is badly injured is going to be having issues with respiration as well as loss of body fluids. Increased calcium will help for for the loss of fluids (mind you calcium , Not necessarily salt), so increasing this, especially negatively charged calcium ions. A fresh Wonder Shell in the bath water will help for this, also products such as Calcium Gluconate. Carl

Well, the one dies...the other male I just caught and he is in a meth blue bath as we speak. Iam going to put him in a tank by himself with some melafix...Don't know if the melafix will help but figured it couldn't hurt.

This is exactly what Melafix has been proven to help with, no the many disease treatment recommendations such as Columnaris that I read all over the internet. Good luck with him Brenda, I wish I could add or help more. Carl
