Not sure what they are, platys or swords?  John/ Murdock and I were up half the night as I was catching them lol ;D Thanks for all your help John, maybe next time I can get the female before she delivers?  |

Congrats Demfish! I'm not sure which kind they are but you should know as they develop. Newborn guppies look very similar to 2 week old bettas. Baby fish of all species look very much alike.

that's why I mentioned the plastic birthing tank over the net ones....larger fish will attack the net, wounding or killing - they will also try to suck the fry thru the holes in the bottom of the plastic ones! good luck and congrats!

I had babies too today. About 10-15 guppy fry. Managed to get all but two into another tank. The rest I will capture when I can if the adults don't get them first.

Thanks folks!! Renee congrats to you also, how many guppies you have now?
Looks like I bought that breeder tank just in time. When I was coming home yesterday, stopped at a garage sale.. They had a brand new in the box 10 gal kit, never been used, for $20.00!!! So now I have a grow out tank or a sick tank...Yippee!!! More tanks, think I'm hooked now lol!!!

congrats demfish very nice video they could actually be a crossbreed, you won't be able to tell until they're bigger make sure you remove the female if you have her in that little breeder (which i personally would never recommend  ) and take out that divider in the middle, as it will give the fry more swim room |
