I am at my wits end. I have been dealing with parasites for over a year in my 30 gallon tank. Please help. I set up the tank and did a fishless cycle for 3 months. I added all my fish (Glofish, Platties, Guppies, Zebra Danios) at one time. Within a month, I lost 3 fish and I have no idea why. A year later, I have managed to keep them all alive but 1 Danio that died last week. I have tried PraziPro contacting the company and following instructions perfectly but it did nothing. Paraguard stops the flashing and dashing on rocks but then after a few weeks they start doing it again. The company that makes Paraguard told me to use it for a full 23 days to complete the parasite life cycle. I did and it helped but now they are dashing on rocks. Two days ago, I started the Paraguard again and the dashing has stopped but what the heck!? This is crazy. I am faithful to do a partial water change every Friday. I scrub the sides of my tank and sipon in the rock substrate. I always wash off the few artificial plants. I also have 5 live plants in the tank. I have a compound microscope and can collect samples all day but have no idea what I am seeing. The below link is a youtube link that I just loaded. I collected this sample after a water change. It is a sample of poop with some water and unavoidable things mixed in from the tank. Is this what is reaking havoc in my tank? Warning - turn down your volume. My microscope records horrible background noise. Oh and you can see more videos on my channel that will show you whats creeping around in my tank. Help!!! I am so tired of dealing with this. I also tried General Cure. It did not work. youtu.be/1UVbeo3F5aM
