I have the Vecton-6 V2 600 25 watt. My tank/sump is 160 gallons total water (measured). I will be using a power head, located in the sump post filtration, and the UV out will empty into the return pump chamber. The pump to UV will use 1' of tubing vertical (1"/1.25" OD) and one 90 degree elbow. So for Level One is it 30/35 gph per watt = 750gph flow rate and the turn over rate is 1/1.5 x per hour of that? Or is my turnover rate 1/1.5 x my total gallons of water? And then what would I need for Level Two? HELP!!!!!!! (donation will follow with the answer ) Thanks Mike

Flow is the more important measure, followed by turn over. So, if the turn over is more within reason, it would be ok. That said, you could get level 2 at 250gph, which is more in range for your size tank. 25watt x 10gph = 250gpw That's what I would do... so do you recommend running for Level 1 or Level 2 in a reef/fish setup? My stats over the years have found that with normal quarantine precautions, the difference between level on and two is pretty much a statistical anomaly. Now without good quarantine procedures level 2 becomes a little more valuable. The big difference I've found over the years is between no UV at all or just clarification and true level level one UV Sterilization Carl
