Right here at everything aquatic we have a great place for you to start a tank blog. everythingaquatic.proboards.com/board/59/aquarium-pond-blogs
This helps us to help you when we can see your set up as well as you can look back to see answers to your questions.
I came here in January of this year because of all the bad thing said to me for the questions I asked. There are no bad mouthing here because the Admins will put you out. It is great that guest cant post unless they register and this helps to keep the trouble makers out. In the last year I have never had any problem with anyone on this sight. I have only received encouragement and even when I ask the same question over and over again i receive the same answer and or link, "and I like the links a great deal" to read.
I am sorry about you loosing Jack. I had a bunch of Tiger Barbs in the beginning that I really loved and one morning I woke to see all of them floating. It was heart breaking to find out that the heater didn't shut off during the night and the water was in the 90's
You can make your blog any way you want, just pictures or brag on a special friend in the tank and not feel you will be judged as you would be else where. It is a great way to put your test results to and if anyone sees something going wrong they will call it to your attention. I had a NO3 level(Nitrate) that I thought was OK but when it was called to my attention and a link was suggested to read that I realized was way too high.
I had a lot of bad information in the beginning I had to learn to forget and replace it with correct information.
Don't ever be afraid to ask a question here no matter how trivial you might think it might be. Someone here will know the answer and/or they may ask a lot of questions so you get the correct answer.
We are here to help each other to grow in confidence to maintain a healthy environment for our underwater friends...
