We are a family here at Everything Aquatic & once you join you will have access to other non aquatic boards to share and make friends
We are the ORIGINAL/TRUE “Everything Aquatic” forum board created in 2005 and sponsored by Aquarium keeping "guru" Carl Strohmeyer based on his decades of experience and research (do not be fooled by the copycat forum board/store created around 2012 out of Medford OR and promoted by a broken Google Algorithm)
Our Mission at Everything Aquatic: help aquarium keepers by providing accurate science based information and helping people educate themselves through our library of articles.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
Or please consider a donation, even just $5 helps. If even 25% of users of this information donated just $5, it would be more income than one year of sales (currently less than 1/1000 of a % donate)
As our main Sponsor, AAP, generates almost no income for its owner as pressures from Amazon & others has decreased margins to less than 7%
Or think of it this way; most persons would not go to a full service restaurant and not leave a tip. Even if you walked into PetCo or any other "brick & mortar" retail establishment and they helped you with a question such as your sick fish, most would not leave without a purchase. Yet our stats software now shows that 99% of our information users no longer support this information monetarily!

Pretty Girl, my evil and wonderful Green Sevrum, takes offense to anyone getting too close to her tank. Everyone thinks it's hilarious that she tries to "get" me every time I come close so I thought that I would take a video of her. Every time you see her rush forward it is because I put my face near the glass. Bad fishy!
Bravery is not the ability to face dangerous or difficult situations without fear; for that is mere foolishness and therefore no great accomplishment. Bravery is the ability to feel fear and yet carry out the right and necessary thing that one is called upon to do.

I had a gold angel that was like that. She became hyper-aggressive when she lost her mate, and made life miserable for "everyone" (I finally gave her up last summer, because of this). She ousted my other female angel from her mate and took over; it didn't matter if they were breeding or not, she would charge me whenever I got "too close" to the tank, unless I had a package of food in my hand. I never got video of any of this, but I did post a couple pictures of her in the "Angelic ? Not Really" post (under S. Am cichlids") in the "Cichlids" section of the "Freshwater Aquariums board".
Here's a quick pic of her in action:

AAP is the only full service/professional retailer of this line of lights in North America. BEWARE of a parasite retailer selling clearance product with no support that Google's corrupt search engine sadly brings up!
