They will figure out that I am their best friend at some point and stop eating their eggs. You can't separate them from the eggs because the fry will feed on their slime coat. Good point. I have seen this in Angels too www.discushatchery.com/discusfryattach.htmlCarl

My fish are on eastern time zone as we have now changed to central time. I don't plan on forcing them to get up a hour earlier.

I just put in a offer for a unproven pair of Red Panda's. They are from the same source I purchased my Checkerboard Pigeon Snakeskin's so I know the quality is high. I went to the retailer who will purchase all of my spawns and saw what he had available. I was not impressed with the quality he had and he wasn't either. One of the Blue Cobalts was starving to death probably from internal worms so I talked him into letting me have it. It is in a quarantine tank now being wormed with Prazipro. I hope I can bring him out of it as I will keep him for myself.

I am moved into the new Aquarium Plant room but now need to get organized. The Red Pandas, Blue Diamonds and Checkerboard Pigeon Snakeskin s are spawning now. The room is much quieter so everything should be better for all of them. I will have pictures soon.

Sorry for the long absence. Still working on the room... Will it ever be done? I will have to move my desk out at some point because I will need room to place 4 more 75 gallon grow-out tanks. I am setting up a drip system of 1 gallon of water per/hour exchange for my two 75's. Do you have any advise on drip systems?
I also have a new proven pair of Blue Diamonds with the deep blue gene. The Checkerboard pigeon snakeskin and Red Pandas have spawned a lot but have not raised any young yet. I am also thinking about spawning the Super Veil Angels.
Anyway... I have been doing a lot of spring cleaning in the house. My wife is leaving to Florida for vacation in 2 weeks with her friends. It will be odd to be all by myself. After Fred passed away I found myself stumped with my new freedom of no more 24/7 care giving in our home. 6 empty bedrooms make a quiet home for retirement....

Must be God's way of trying to give you rest. Maybe you'll get more work done on the room? Spawn little buddies! I want to meet you! I've never personally used a drip system, but have seen where people use 1 or 1 1/2 PCV and have drip like to little control valves. The down side I've heard is that they can clog. If how many tanks you're going to have, sounds like your going to need something to help manage water.

If how many tanks you're going to have, sounds like your going to need something to help manage water. The lines I will use are 1/4 in RO feed line. The line can hold pressure to prevent clogging of the water emitters designed to control the flow of 1 gph up to 10 gph. When I have everything in place I will shoot a video for you. I will be doing a test run on shipping fish in the near future. If you would like some Blue Diamonds, I will ship them to you at no cost. I plan on selling online as well... I have 4 juveniles of 10 I purchased for learning the grow-out process. These 4 do not make the cut in quality I want to sell because they have black tips on their pelvic fins. They are at 2 inches right now so when I get them to 3-3.5 I will let you know. The other thing I am doing is slowly bringing them to tap water of 14 dkh, Kh & Gh and a ph of 8.0 My breeding stock will stay in KH & GH of 6 I would very much like to meet you and Carl some day...
