Here is a snip from the article:
"Green and yellows are shown in RQE/PFY Mcree graph to be used in the whole process of Photosynthesis as in, once Photosynthesis is activated, if green and yellow light are available, about 70-90% of the light will be utilized to help feed the plant.
Oppose to RQE/PFY, if Green or yellow light are the only color light available to the plant, Photosynthesis cannot take place as these colors do not provide any photosynthesis action. In fact, this light can be detrimental to Photosynthesis if provided in amounts higher than 25%.
