I have a question about contraindications for ParaGuard, I was thinking I'd read something somewhere, but couldn't find it again. Is ParaGuard safe to use with shrimp or snails? Last night I saw one of my fish "scratching an itch", but he only did it a couple of times, and I haven't seen him, or any of the others do it since, however I am keeping an eye out just in case. I was considering treating for possible parasites if I notice it happening again, and thought I'd use ParaGuard, but I want to be sure it's safe for the inverts 1st. I do have some Herbal Ich Attack as well, if you think that would be better.

Another quick question. Is ParaGuard safe for use with plants? Also, I assume the UV sterilizer can be left on during use. [One of the cories "had an itch" a couple different times, so I will be keeping a close eye out to see if it happens anymore...so far: not.

Yes, but some sensitive plants may burn back a bit.
And yes, the UV can also be left on.

I have just posted a note on this subject in my "Amano Shrimp" thread in the "Other Aquatic Life" board.
