"One" of my dream tanks is "a" brackish tank. This particular question isn't about brackish fish, exactly, and I know the answer probably depends on the degree of salinity the tank is maintained at, but is Live Rock something that is compatible with brackish systems? I don't recall ever hearing anything about this aspect of maintaining/"filtering" brackish aquariums.
If I come up with any more Brackish questions, I'll post them here, unless you have another suggestion. Of course for a specific brackish fish, I'll ask under this "sub-sub board".

No. Live rock as it contain organisms that cannot live in water long term with a specific gravity of 1.019 or lower

Three more things I was wondering about when it comes to brackish tanks:
1) What are some brackish inverts (besides Nerite snails)?
2) Is protein skimming something to consider with brackish systems?
3) When it comes to diseases, are brackish fish susceptible to both fresh and marine diseases/parasites (example: Ich)?

Crabs can be brackish I don't believe a skimmer is required. Good questions about the disease. I would think there's the same diseases.
