Here are some pics of the new juvenile/(?)female rainbows I got on the 17th. I got them at Petsmart (that's all they had, and they don't usually carry them) because none had come in at Petco, and they were on sale (I was told "clearance"): I have a photo (this is a closer enlargement of it) that shows both tanks, with both sets of rainbows in the same shot (where you could see the size comparison), but the males were in the upper part of the 55G, while the "juveniles" were towards the bottom of the 10G so that close-up ended up at 1.20MB, therefore it wouldn't load. The original (sized to be accepted on the forum) photo was taken from far enough away that it is kind of hard to "see" them. So I chose this close-up that includes Valentine (he's on the small side for a Betta...? not quite fully grown yet) so you can still get an idea of their size: [Edit: It's not noticeable in these photos, but these guys have blue eyes!]

I meant to post this yesterday, but forgot. I have been trying to catch my smallest female Black Phantom, so I placed one of my specimen containers (which are clear) on its side (about 12" from the left side of the tank) into the 55G...it seems like everybody but her will enter it--some of the fish even go into it and "fall asleep". Anyway, last night my male Dwarf Neon Rainbows were dashing around the tank when they came charging across the lower half from the right side straight towards the container, when they suddenly "slammed on the brakes" and came to a dead stop about 1/4" from it ! It was sooo funny to watch because they were going so fast, and all stopped as one--and it happened so quickly!
