Hi everyone. The April newsletter was just released. It's a special thank you to our loyal followers. We are an information provider first, with one of the largest aquarium and pond article libraries on the web, then a on-line retailer second. www.americanaquariumproducts.com/newsletter2014.html

AWESOME new T2 lights reading about these in the newsletter AND learning more at AAP website has me sold! Of course I have to wait until I return to the USA before I order them as replacements to T5s on my Big Tank and my smaller tanks too. I hope that by then there will be more "in use" by EA forum members because I dont quite understand the install as replacements - I already know I will want some of each white and blue.
Another comment on this imonths newsletter is where are the Aquarists comics??? I thought we might see more in this issue.

I've used the T-2s on my 20 gal tank (since turned into a 40 gal, with LEDs) I thought they were great. I have plans to use them again, when I start the 20 gal back up. Here's what they looked like at the start of the tank. everythingaquatic.proboards.com/thread/3475/gallon-long-planted-build-picturesThe Aquariusts are coming... Waiting for some suspense , gauging interest, and simply taking some time to get it done. We are headed on the right track to get a full clip done soon

Happy holidays everyone! Hope you're all well. This is just to let everyone know that AAP's newsletter has been released... All the good stuff. Also, want to point out some important new information about experimental treatments with Oregon Grape Root. Exciting for natural aquarium treatments as an extra boost against resistant disease. You can view it at: americanaquariumproducts.com/newsletter2014.htmlHave a great one!

Hi, Dev! I just logged on for a second to do a quick scan, and noticed this post; loved the video (glad that the Paradagim graze formula is out--will order with my next order), BTW, you're as cute as your Avatar . Angelminx

Loved the acclimation video, but I do have a question that I keep forgetting to ask: when the acclimation period is done over hours--in the winter, when room temps are much lower than optimal--if you use the 5 gallon bucket (for larger or schools of fish) how do you keep the temperature close to what it should be to keep the fish safe/comfortable? Normally I acclimate in specimen containers that will sit in water (in the 5G bucket)in which the temp is controlled--but when I use the bucket without the containers, the starting water level is too low for a heater and takes quite a while before it reaches enough volume to do so.
