Hi, Judy!
I can't find Congo Tetras around here either, but since I don't plan on getting any just yet anyway, I haven't asked the girl from Petco that does their fish ordering ,if they are available to them or not. When I lived in El Cajon (San Diego County, CA) the DEDICATED fish store that I went to had a great variety of fish to choose from, including the Congos. The largest tank I had at the time was 15G, so I never got any.

When I had my local fish store as well as my stock I kept for aquarium maintenance customers, I was rarely without Congo Tetras Carl

Hi Carl,
There is a store in Cincinnati (family owned- not a chain) that has gorgeous Yellow-tail Congos... Just stunning fish! My son likes to buy fish at that store. I bought several South American Cichlids for him there -- but I didn't have a bucket and air pump with me so I couldn't buy any fish (boo-hoo). My first Goyder River rainbows came from a store in Florence, KY. I had taken 3 silver dollars I raised down there for my son -- so had air pump and bucket to bring two handsome boys home with me.
I have four male Congos (Phenacogrammus interruptus) in my 75 gallon. I am terrible.... I only buy the boys.

Hi, Guys! That's another problem with ordering fish on-line, very rarely (except in cases like Bettas) can you specify which gender/gender ratio of fish you want! I can understand if you are buying juveniles where they can't guarantee the sex, but when it's possible to tell, you still often aren't allowed to ! Angelminx

BTW, I gave my 4 Black Neons their 1st application of Bio Bandage on Monday evening. On Wednesday morning, before their 1st bath, I put them in a specimen container of just tank water to take a good look at them. The female's sore looks a lot better (pictures on Display Tank Treatment Options, Fish Illness board). After both the bath that followed, and the one this evening, I applied the Bio Bandage again.

Hi, Carl,
I'm another one you can add to your list of those interested in the 1oz bottle. Since starting the BB with my Black Neons a 4 days ago, I'm down to about 1/3 of a bottle. I know if I had to use it for my angels I'd go thru it a lot faster! Thanks for all you do!

Thanks, Carl, How long should I wait to check back with you? Angelminx I do not know yet, since I cannot even contact the company until Monday, and then I will need to get a confirmation which can take anywhere from 1 day to two weeks just for the confirmation (based on past experience). BTW, we did get in the Flourish Trace www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Seachem.html#flourishtraceCarl

Thanks, Carl. Unless an emergency comes up, I'll probably have to wait until January for my next order (Christmas, you know), but if I can swing it, I'll order this month

Hi, Carl,
I am almost out of Kanaplex (thought I had another container) so am also going to order some more StressGuard and BioBandage too, and was wondering if you'd found out anything yet on the larger bottle of BioBandage? If not, I'll order another small bottle for the time being. I'll probably order Thursday, unless I hear anything from you Wednesday. Thanks.

Angelminx Yeah, I ordered Cherry Shrimp once and had to actually order them twice because the first bunch of 6 they sent me didn't have any males.

Angelminx I believe there is some issues with the larger size. I would consider the smaller size for the time being.

As I was looking thru my March '06 Aquarium Fish Magazine last night, I found a full-page ad for Hikari's Aquarium Solutions Aquarium Care Products. Included in it were PraziPro, CyroPro (for conditions caused by Anchor Worm and Fish Lice), Ich-X, BioBandage Powder, and GermGone (a non-alchohol based hand sanitizer for pet owners), as well as a couple other items. Just thought you might be interested.

Maybe if you can share a screenshot of this ad, we and others might find it interesting Honestly though as per Hikari, after a very abusive, attacking, and bullying email back to our company when we were simply attempting to get some clarification on Bio Bandage, we are only inclined to sell products that are only unique to Hikari, in others not comparable product can be found elsewhere. IMO, Hikari is another example of what is now wrong with the aquarium industry Carl

As soon as I figure get the time, and figure out scanning on this new printer and computer setup, I'll post a shot of the ad. I also have a series of other things waiting to be scanned, that you guys might be interested.
