Tinfoil Barbs - the Odd Couple (funny)

Yes, I know tinfoil barbs are schooling fish, but two is all I can handle... These two are big enough now that they should be the only fish my 75 gallon (if one goes by the fish inch per gallon ratio). These are not the biggest pair I have had -- but they are only a little more than two years old and have room to grow. They are Tin Man 2 and Oz 2 (named after the second pair I had... The first pair were my son's fish - Spiderman and Tom Hanks... No idea why one was named Tom Hanks as my son's friends named the fish. Spiderman was more obvious as he/she had redder fins). After Spiderman died (accidentally choked on a Skunk Cory Cat), I gave Tom Hanks to a young man who had a 250 gallon tank. He was really impressed with the fish.
Anyways.... Tin Man 2 and Oz 2 are just hilarious. They are never more than 1 foot a part (well except when the naughty featherfin catfish decides to chase one of them). They both HATE Wonder Shells. Any time I put the Wonder Shell in (all the way over to one side of the aquarium), they won't go near it. They will only swim half way across the aquarium, then will turn around. I have some fish that need the Wonder Shell, so I still put it in.....leave it in for a while, then take it out.
My plan was always to give these two barbs away before they got too big.... My hubby talked me into keeping them. Tinfoil Barbs are so expressive... and show so much emotion. They really do take care of each other. (my other two pairs did, too).
