I have not been able to find a box big enough for the Big Tank - I think it would be easier to ship you to my tanks instead of the other way around. . What about shipping my fishes down to you Devon - put them all into your 40 gallon for a few months .......please Carl, glad you think it is a fair trade deal too

Would probably have my fishies for a snack to. Best to go down to the local 7eleven, get a bunch of big gulps, individually fill and box up a bunch of them. Have battery air pumps for each cup... oh or maybe just air lift the whole tank. That would make it so you can ship the whole box process...

We don't have 7-11 down here. Isn't Amazon going to try using Drones (the ones without bombs) for parcel deliveries purchased on their website? I know I read that online somewhere. So maybe AAP can do the same thing, and I can receive another order from them by drone delivery, and ship my fishes down to AAP as a return shipment. Then you can pick them up there. Bring some cup holders

Oh man, now I'm confused.

We should send the recommendation to Amazon, they did just reach out to us and let us know they are expanding their marine line and were looking for us to jump on board... Just imagine a bunch of aquariums and fish being transported in the sky by little drones. lol I think we're on to something.

Amazon - read their fine print. Or is that what got you disgusted? If so, I understand We read their fine print and called them out on it, they then never responded to our email as they knew we were not going to be suckered in. Carl

Here's some updated pictures of my tank. Some major changes you will see. I have a bunch of plants floating at the top of the tank. The current of the filters/power head sometimes make the plants bunch up. I don't mind it, because it makes lot of good hiding spots for the fish. They also feed on it and also more importantly, it diffuses my LEDs. I've trimmed some plants and some have grown out. I've switch around the pre-filters to hind them a little more. For my sand filter, I switch to a container holding the pump, surrounded by volcanic rock and gravel. I did this cause the filter ma pre-filter was getting clogged to quickly and I'm trying to lengthens the time I can go without having my hands in the tank. The volcanic rock works wonders Thanks Carl and Ameenah for this one. Other than that, something you can't see is a Nitrate problem I'm managing. Let's just say my Nitrate climb much higher than I like them, so I've worked on filtration and added NPX to my sand filter. I've cut my LEDs down to one. You can see this in the picture. Two, at the way I have them mounted (low) was to much for a couple of plants in the tank. I went down to one LED, lengthen the time I have it running (9 hrs. instead of 6) and still have it mounted low. I keep my water line about three inches from the top of the aquarium too. I feel better about it not so full too. Sorry for the just ok pictures, but here you go.

You? Nitrates? I thought I was the only one with THAT problem? lol Loved the videos- especially the music. Was like one of those "Selling NewYork" HGTV type clips. Virtual tour showing around the place (tank). ;-) Really polished water. Im jealous. Its interesting to watch such small fish do their thing after dealing so much with mine (12"). Little guys just seem so delicate. Cool Pleco- I think thats what it was. Just kinda hangs around the bottom. Was trippy to see from the inside out into the room (#2), "see what the fish see". (Move over Cousteau!)
Nice job, Kevin

(Move over Cousteau!) Nice job, Kevin Thanks Kevin. Yea, I was having trouble with a couple of my filters operating correctly and while that was happening, I wasn't doing as many water changes as I should have to manage the Nitrate. I just kept trying to correct my filters, thinking they would bring down the Nitrates. I got my filters working good and the Nitrates are slowly coming down again. I'm playing the waiting game like you. Thanks about the videos. The music is stock from YouTube! Always had clean water. Never srub anything. Everyone is always saying how clear it is. That's the thing, it looks clean, but it's slightly toxic. I get grieve from my wife when I'm working on the tank, but it's so crisp. She doesn't understand why I "try to make the water more clear, when it's already clear"...Really I'm working on Nitrates. Yup my guys are much smaller than yours. My pleco (yup pleco) is the largest. He's about 10 inches. The others larger ones are about 3-4 inches. Thanks again. I'll be other to check out your thread soon

Ok, NOW Im super jealous! I've been getting that red color for so long- even after doing a bunch of stuff, figured maybe the reagent was old. Just picked up a PH alert disc that sticks to the wall- Seachem I think. Any experience with the accuracy of those? I already use the ammonia alert and IT seems to work. I guess I have to give the sponge a while to work- but I would LOVE to see a yellow vile!!

WCs were only bringing it down a little at a time. Doing a water change to manage Nitrates was making me have to do larger water changes than I like to, too. I haven't personally used the pH alert. I do use the Ammonia one though. I'm happy with it. I never thought to use the pH alert, just because I don't focus on pH to often. Mine always seems to say around 7.5. Anytime I test (once a week or other week), it's always the same. Thanks for checking out my thread. Hope you are doing well. Good luck with the Nitrate control.
