I have a 14G tank that has the same horizontal dimensions as a regular 10G tank, it's just taller.
I also have a regular 10G tank and I was thinking about filling it with free-floating java moss and a sponge filter and using it as a breeding tank for killifish.
Does anybody have any experience with stacking two tanks one on top of each other? Do they make aquarium stands that would accomodate something like this?

I would not stack the aquariums on top of each other, rather build or have a stand custom built that has two tiers (which I have built for my previous store and aquarium breeding/testing room at my previous residence. Make sure to add a diagonal cross brace for a tall tank (you probably already know this parker, but other readers may not) The use of stackable sponge filters would be suggested such as pointed out in this article: Additional Sponge Filters for Breeding or Large Aquarium ApplicationsCarl

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply the two tanks would directly contact each other.
It's just that I've seen cheap wrought iron stands that claim to be able to hold two 10G tanks, one on top of the other, and I've heard horror stories about them crumpling under the pressure.
I have multiple sponge filters just sitting around - I could probably build something stackable like that.

I have seen cheap metal stand/tiers that seem super thin before and have wondered how they hold the tank up. But others that are well made (and don't have strength sacrificed for beauty as I have seen on a few) are fine to use IMO. Is the iron stand you have now thin and fragile looking? Kind of like this only worse. www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/28/2/AAAAAqXmJt0AAAAAACgqLQ.jpg?v=1169700871000I hope that helps! Renee

This is fragile
The metal stand in the picture goldenpuon provided does not have any diagonal supports and should NOT be used.
After building many stands holding up as much as 180 gallon aquariums in 2 tiers and seeing what can happen with poorly braced aquarium stands, I cannot emphasize diagonal bracing more for any two tier stand (this includes having diagonally braced two tier tanks surviving major earthquakes near "ground 0" in the Los Angeles area.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards building something out of 2x4's with metal internal bracing.
