I finally took some pictures of my big tank! I moved a koi angel from QT to this tank last Thursday. He's been doing pretty well in there so far...(knocks on wood). Saturday I moved the pleco from the 30 to the 50. I was really worried he was going to put up a huge fight and make a mess of my plants, but he really didn't. So that will be the last move for him. Hopefully he won't get too monstrous. I don't have any pictures of the pleco yet though. He's super shy. Anyway, here's what I've got: I'm still irritated because I can't get a good shot without glare. I'll keep trying though. My little black angel that survived the parasite! (taking suggestions for a name) Here's a little video. In it, you will see Pierre, my last koi angel, the little black angel, and in the back, you can just make out a couple of the Colombian Tetras. They're really quite pretty, so I have to try to get a better shot of them as well. I also want to get a few more. There's only 4 now. I'd like to get 3 or 4 more.

Thanks! The plants are still a work in progress. You know me, I keep trying different plants until eventually I find some that won't die. lol.
I had a bunch of egeria densa in there, but I couldn't get it to root, so I got mad and just threw it away as it popped out of the gravel. I've got 2 anubias plants and I have something else in there too, but can't remember what it's called. The only other plants in there are java fern.
The big wood sculpture thing has some java moss attached to it. I hope eventually the moss will fill in and make the wood thing look kind of like a tree. I've got an interesting small-leaf variety of java fern, known as Windelov also on the wood. It's not doing too well there, so I may have to think of another spot for it.
My koi guy doesn't have as much color as Carl's does. I'm hoping as he grows he'll get some more orange color to him.
Well Bill, you've got the best of both worlds between your saltwater tank and your wife's pond. Does your son still have his little tank?
