Is there a great online site to purchase new tanks at a great price?

IMO, tanks are generally best purchased locally as they do not ship well. The filters, lights and other supplies can more easily be purchased online. See: American Aquarium ProductsCarl

As for tanks, look for a used tank on Craig's list. You can find used tanks and stands at unbelievably low prices right now and then you can just buy all your gear through Carl. That's what I would do personally.

kagome you are right, there are some really good deals on Craig's list now as people seem to be in dump mode for non-essentials. I'm not in the market for a tank, but I just saw a 46g bowfront with solid wood stand included for $120 among many others of various sizes. I think I paid $120 alone for my smaller 26g bowfront, not including the stand!
As with any used items make sure you check it out thoroughly so if it's not filled with water try to make sure it doesn't have any leaks.
