i need some ideas with what i can do for the ten gallon tank. because we are goin to be given away the rest of the guppies we have and i wanted to do something completely different with the then gallon tank. what would be some good ideas of some fish that i could put in there? some of the fish that i was wanting to put in there are 1 male betta 3 female bettas 1 loauch and that is where i draw i blank.i want to put in at least 3 other kinds of tropical community fish in the tank.but i dont want to put any fish that is a live bear. and the gourami that we currently have is going to be moved into the ten gallon tank because i know i wouldnt be able to put him in the same tank as the male betta. so any ideas would be great.
thanks

I've got white clouds in my 10 gal with 1 female betta. It's a pretty peaceful, fun tank to watch. Every now and then the white clouds will get rowdy and zip around the betta too much for her liking and she'll chase them away, but it's nothing violent.
I have Gold white clouds as well as regular gray ones for some variety. I really like them a lot!

i dont think ive heard to much about those! im going to have to check them out and see what they are about! are they live bears? bc if so im not goin to be interested in them bc im trying to stay away from live bears, dealing with the guppies have deff done that for me! i mean they were great fish to have but its just a lot of work with the live bears in my opinion. but also great to have in the tank i was recently told that i wouldnt be able to have a female betta in with a male betta.idk im kinda feel like im runnin around in circles because i cant decide on what type of fish that i want to put into the ten gallon once i get rid of everyone else in there.only ones im keepin are the ghost cats and the gourami(that is going to be transfered into the ten gallon tank once i get the male guppies into a nice home) so any other advice like ive said would be awesome thank you so much babygeige ill look into those fish unless youve got any information that you can give me

White clouds are lovely fish.
I heard but I don't know if is true that bettas and gouramis can't mix after maturity. The betta and gourami experts on this board answer offer their expertise knowledge.
You might want to peruse flame tetra or gold tetra.

You might want to look into kilifish but they need lots of plants to hide in. But they are small and very colorful. I'm not sure how they will do with the gourami, though. What kind of loach are you wanting to put in the 10g? The reason I ask is most need to live in groups and many species will get WAY too big for a tank that size pretty quickly.

I don't recommend 3 female bettas with a male unless you know what you are doing due to agression and also the possibility that they may breed.
Why not try a school of tetras? They are very colorful and fun to watch.

White Cloud Mountain Minnows aren't livebearers, so no worries there. They do well in cooler waters, high 60's to low 70's. They get be about 1 1/2 inches. They're not picky eaters at all.
They stay mostly toward the top of the aquarium, but they will wander around in the lower parts too.
I really like them. They're pretty fish, especially when a male is displaying. They like to chase each other around, but no harm is ever done. It makes them fun to watch.
