here is an update on whats going on in the 30 gallon. yesterday we took back the zebra and the acei cause we arent going to be gettin the 45 gallon tank anymore. so we are just going to stick with yellow labs and keep it a one species tank. are pleco is getting really big! its so good to see how big he is getting! thats the latest update on the 30.
the ten gallon tank the melafix did wonders on the injuries we had one some of the fish in there. everyone in that tank are doing good. our baby guppies in that tank are getting so big and some color to them. those are from the first batch of guppies.
the baby tank everyone is growing and doing really well. cant wait wait to put them in the ten gallon with the other babies.
thats it that new with the tanks!

you 2 did a great thing...not only for your sanity but for those fish. in the future when a large tank is available.....maybe a play on those combos could work. you should be happy with the tank now....congrats and enjoy...

I am proud of you for making a smart decision! all will come in due time - you did the right thing and the yellow labs look spectacular w/ neons, although they're not the fastest fish as dithers - zebra danios have worked for me as well as orange flame von vio tetras for color and my labs seem very tolerant of them - I'm a newbie at this myself - patience is hard to maintain sometimes - you're doing great!

thanks for all the congrats.we just thought it would be better off with doing a tank with nothing but labs.and we thank you all as well with all your help and support. once we can get a larger tank we are thinking about doing it with zebra's we really enjoyed havin that fish in the tank so we are still deciding on if we want it to be an all zebra tank or another kind of cichlid. so any ideas for what kind please let us know! and we didnt want to see the three suffer as they got older, so we thought it would be best if we took them back to the pet store. we want to get some neons or some of the black neons(i think thats what they are called) for dither fish in the tank. we are really looking forward to see how this tank turns out. n we will keep everyone updated on how this goes and let you guys know as soon as we get our other tank we are wanting. thanks a million again

the guppies!!!!! ohh the guppies!!! we have quite a few females and we ended up moving the babies to the 10 gallon tank with the lonely female and took the males into the grow out baby tank for the moment hoping to sell or give away a handful of them. along with the females that have grown out also.
will try to get some pictures up of the males they are all snakeskin some colored and some irredecent. and maybe some of the females theres just so many and there drab and boring looking.
10 gallon tank. the loach has passed on sadly. but he did recover from his wounds before he did pass. i think it was just his time. i personaly havent heard of anyone that has purchased one from petsmart to have one live as long as ours has. my albino cory cats have survived the battle currently in the tank we have my 2 albino cory cats and a ton of baby guppies around 12 i think and 1 adult female guppy and the 2 glass cats are still just as boring and healthy as ever!
the cichlid tank! im excited to say this our lab has a new play mate and its a young male bumble bee they both tolerate eachother and the lab is the dominant one in the tank i have re aranged the decor about 4 times till it worked out to where each one has there own spots and will tolerate eachother during feeding in the open waters. i know its not a smart move but its worked and with any luck and inspiration it will continue to work for years to come!
James with the update of the fishy stuff!

I hope this works out well for you. Keep an eye out for aggression from the bumblebee when he gets bigger. They can get nasty.

here is a picture of the tank (everything in here has been rearranged to give them more room and hiding spots and it also has three monkeys that has been added as well to give them some what more of spots to get away from each other). here is the lab and the new decor's (he didnt fit with it up the right way because he has gotten so much bigger for it.so james just turned it over on its side and it seems to be working great for the lab!) here is a CLOSE UP of the bumble bee the lab again in front of the new decor monkeys that were added to the tank the bumble is in the monkey cave that james turned on its side for the lab this is the lab going to chase around the bumble bee (we thought it looked cool because he was all flared up and its from the side view) the lab just hanging out in his cup the bumble bee leaving the monkey head thats all we have that is new with the 30 gallon tank.
in the ten gallon we sold most of our female guppies and they went to great homes. now all we have in there is the 2 ghost cat fish,2 female guppies,1 albino cory cat, and the newest tank mate in there is our opaline gourami!!

good choice on the opaline! my cichlids don't hassle them at all - just don't put 2 males in the tank IMO opinion as they are as territorial and the cichlids
