colors are so awesome, but I cant seem to get the flash out of it

try using a piece of toilet papertaped over the flash. it will minimize the hot spot. or....try putting lots of lights on the tank and shooting with no flash. bettas are easy to do that since they dont move much.

beautiful betta turning the camera a bit sideways also helps, so the flash doesn't directly reflect on the glass

She's beautiful. Nice coloring and cute as well. It looked like your male might be building a bubble nest in your last photo of him. Are you breeding them?
